Los Angeles drug trafficker sentenced to more than five years in prison for meth distribution conspiracy

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A drug trafficker from the Los Angeles area was sentenced to prison for his role in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy.

The United States Department of Justice says that on December 4, 24-year-old Julio Cesar Nevarez-Erunez was sentenced to five years and 10 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Daniel J. Calabretta.

Authorities say that Nevarez-Erunez, who is originally from Downey, California, conspired with 28-year-old Juan Niebla-Osuna, also from Downey, to distribute methamphetamine in the Eastern District of California and other locations…
