Details released after 19-year-old killed in Anaheim police response

Authorities have released new details about a police response that left a 19-year-old dead and an 18-year-old injured in Anaheim over the weekend.

Officers were conducting gang-suppression patrols around 9:30 p.m. Saturday when a group they attempted to contact on South Philadelphia Street ran toward a nearby residence, the Anaheim Police Department said in a Facebook post Wednesday night.
