DOWNEY — Police were investigating the shooting death of a man in Downey on Friday.
The shooting occurred around midnight in an accessory dwelling unit adjacent to a home near Patton Road and Fontana Street.
ABC7 reported from the scene that a 33-year-old San Pedro man was killed in the doorway of the structure, which was apparently being rented by a family with children. The victim was visiting relatives at the home when the shooting occurred, the station reported…
