Hollywood Director Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in their Los Angeles home on Dec. 14.
Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said their son, suspect Nick Reiner, faces two counts of first-degree murder and a special circumstance for multiple murders.
Nick, who has a long history of drug addiction, said in 2016 that he had been to rehab 18 times. The family hasn’t confirmed any mental‑health diagnoses.
Hochman said, “These charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole or the death penalty.”…
