LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Heavy rain was causing dangerous conditions on Los Angeles-area roads and freeways Wednesday morning, with crashes and spin-outs shutting down portions of major traffic routes.
More than an inch of rain had fallen in some areas of Los Angeles County by 6:30 a.m. Wednesday and wrecks and lane closures were numerous, according to the California Highway Patrol.
