A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead in the city of South Gate.
On Jan. 3, deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to an industrial area on the 5500 block of Leeds Street around 5:30 a.m.
Deputies discovered the victim, identified only as an adult male, dead at the scene. No suspects were found nearby and authorities did not release details on a possible cause of death.
