Drier, sunnier weather on horizon for rain-soaked Southern California

After record-setting holiday rains, drier, sunnier weather is just around the corner, the National Weather Service reported.

While a series of storms brought heavy downpours, gusty winds, elevated surf and evacuation warnings due to flood concerns, especially in recent burn scars, the Southland should get a reprieve starting Tuesday through late in the week.
