A Corvette driver is in custody after crashing his high-end sports car into a tree while trying to flee from officers in Orange County, police said.
The incident was captured on a patrol vehicle’s dashcam as the driver failed to pull over for a traffic stop, according to video posted to the Brea Police Department’s Facebook page Monday night.
At one point in the video, the driver makes a left turn and disappears from view. A short time later, officers found the vehicle off the roadway, where it had crashed into a tree.
