2 killed in Long Beach crash identified

LONG BEACH – Speed and a failure to stop for a red light were being investigated Tuesday as possible factors in a three-vehicle, hit-and-run collision that killed a 24-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man and injured three other people in Long Beach.

The crash was reported at 10:15 p.m. Sunday at Sixth Street and Atlantic Avenue, according to Long Beach Fire Department Capt. Dennis Garrett.
