A woman who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Laguna Beach and whose identity has remained a mystery has now been identified over 40 years later.
Virginia Irene Nelson, also known as “Ginny” to her family, was 46 years old when she was killed. Originally from Yonkers, New York, she was last known to be living in Fresno before her death.
