Tributes to fallen Huntington Beach residents are on the agenda of Tuesday’s meeting of the city council.
The council will take up the naming of an area near the Civic Center along Park Street as Patriot Place. It’s now the location of a plaque placed in 1991 to honor Desert Storm veterans and later the city’s 9/11 Memorial, which pays tribute to those from the Huntington Beach area who fought, died, and were prisoners of war.
