(FOX 5/KUSI) — A 4.9 magnitude earthquake was reported about 12 miles northeast of Indio, California Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
It was initially reported around 5:56 p.m. Preliminary data estimates the quake had a depth of about two miles.
