A man was found shot to death in Compton and Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department’s homicide detectives Friday are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Deputies at the Compton Station were called at approximately 1:36 a.m. Friday to the 200 block of N. Bowen Avenue between East Compton Boulevard and East Palmer Street, east of Angeles Abbey Memorial Park regarding a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, deputies found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds, said homicide Lt. Michael Modica.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and there is no additional information available at this time…
