An armed suspect was arrested Saturday morning following a pursuit on multiple freeways that ended in Los Alamitos.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Newton Division initiated the pursuit of a brown Mercedes sedan at 11:40 p.m. Friday after the driver failed to yield at a stop sign in downtown Los Angeles. The suspect drove onto the Harbor ( 110) Freeway, and then transitioned to the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
