The Santa Ana Police Department published a press release on Jan. 29 detailing a fatal officer-involved shooting that was under investigation.
The press release stated that 18-year-old Victor Lopez was driving and failed to yield to the officer attempting to pull him over, continuing to drive for “several blocks.”
