5 People Killed in Fiery Overnight Crash Near Long Beach Airport

Five people were killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Long Beach after a car slammed into a tunnel wall near the entrance and caught fire.

The crash was reported around 1:20 a.m. at Lakewood Boulevard and East Spring Street, near the tunnel that goes under the Long Beach Airport.
