Weather whiplash blamed for surge in Orange County mosquito activity

A weather whiplash of warm and wet conditions is being blamed for a surge in mosquito activity across Southern California.

Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District officials say they’re seeing about five times as many mosquitoes as they normally do this time of year.
