Three people were arrested for possession of 20 pounds of ketamine and $100,000 in cash during a narcotics investigation in Costa Mesa last week.
Detectives with the Costa Mesa Police Department were performing a narcotics investigation in the area of Harbor Boulevard and Wilson Street when a suspect tried to escape by intentionally ramming a police car, Costa Mesa PD said. The suspect was arrested while trying to run from police on foot.
A second vehicle was also stopped during the investigation and two more suspects were arrested. The suspects were in possession of the cash and ketamine at the time of their arrest, according to police.
