A 28-year-old Orange County Sheriff’s deputy assigned to the county’s jail has been charged with voluntary manslaughter in connection to the fatal shooting death of her fiancée last year.
Deputy Aimee Alexis Hidalgo, a resident of Tustin, turned herself in to Tustin police on Monday, according to a news release from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
