Juan Pollo, a Southern California-based Mexican-style rotisserie chicken restaurant, is getting ready to open a new location in Placentia at 2095 East Orangethorpe Avenue, Suite A.
The company’s newest location will join 26 existing Southern California restaurants, according to documents submitted to the OC Health Care Agency. While an exact opening date has not been announced, customers can expect Juan Pollo’s signature rotisserie chicken, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and other Mexican-inspired entrees.
Founded in January 1984 by Albert Okura in Ontario, California, Juan Pollo has spent nearly four decades perfecting its rotisserie chicken recipe, developed with Okura’s brother-in-law, Armando Parra. The restaurant uses open-flame ovens and rotating spits to baste chicken in its natural juices, creating a consistent flavor and texture.
