With a ribbon-cutting celebration last week, the City of Pico Rivera officially opened Alebrije Dog Park, creating a new destination where residents and their furry friends can play, socialize and enjoy the outdoors together.
Marking a milestone in the city, the celebration took place at the southwest corner of Rosemead Boulevard and Gallatin Road and included city leaders, partners and community members.
The dog park was designed with community input and features walking and jogging paths, hydration stations, seating areas, play spaces, obstacle elements and more. The park’s Alebrije theme also highlights local wildlife and celebrates Pico Rivera’s heritage…
