Kind California Man Gives Woman Friendly Warning of Fake Service Dog at Collectibles Show, ‘He just knew you were legit’

Have you ever been walking through a local supermarket and you see someone with a dog? While some shoppers rely on legitimate service animals, others may occasionally abuse the rule. After all, a service dog offers valuable utility. Well, one California security guard wasn’t about to let anybody get injured by a possible fake security dog. He decided to warn two show-goers as they entered a California collectible show in an act of welcomed kindness.

TikTok user Pluto_theservicedog (Natalie) shared an interaction she had with a security guard outside a Frank & Sons Collectible Show in Rowland Heights. There was a clear ‘no pets’ sign posted outside the show. He asked them if Pluto was a service animal, to which they answered, “Yes.” He then proceeded to ask them the question every employee is allowed to ask: “What task could the animal be trained to perform?” They answered that Pluto is a service dog for a “hearing alert.”
