No. 3 Hawai’i stuns No. 2 LBSU in five-set nail-biter

A sold-out Big West showdown graced the LBS Financial Credit Union Pyramid on Friday night, as No. 2 Long Beach State men’s volleyball was stunned 3-2 in a five-set nail-biter by the No. 3 University of Hawai’i on March 20.

With LBSU and Hawai’i fans packing the Pyramid, the crowd was electric as the Rainbow Warriors started the match with a narrow 26-24 win in the first set.
