The Boysenberry Festival has taken over Knott’s Berry Farm!
The annual food and wine festival celebrates the boysenberry – a hybrid fruit created by crossing a loganberry, red raspberry and blackberry. It was developed by Rudolph Boysen in the 1920s and later made popular by none other than Walter Knott, who founded a roadside berry stand in Buena Park that later turned into the theme park.
Included in the celebrations are numerous boysenberry-infused foods and drinks, local crafters, live music and other fun activities for the whole family. Park officials say that this year, more than two-dozen new food items are being introduced…
