LOS ANGELES (WKRC) – A mother and father were sentenced to decades in prison after they tortured their teenage daughter to death because she was “sending inappropriate text messages to teenage boys.”
According to a release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, 38-year-old Oriana Elias and 39-year-old Vincent Gibbs tortured their 16-year-old daughter for hours on August 15, 2021, resulting in her death.
“They became upset with her for sending inappropriate text messages to teenage boys,” the release read. “They punished the victim by having her perform strenuous exercises in the hot sun and then beating her with a wooden plank and a belt for several hours.”…
