ANAHEIM, CA — Two individuals were arrested following a commercial burglary in the early morning hours of March 30, 2026. The incident began shortly after 2:00 a.m. when a business owner observed suspects inside their building via a live surveillance feed and contacted the Anaheim Police Department.
Upon the arrival of ground units, the suspects fled the premises toward nearby railroad tracks. To assist in the search, the department deployed its aerial support unit, a helicopter designated as “Angel.” Utilizing infrared camera technology, the flight crew maintained visual contact with the suspects as they moved through the darkness and attempted to conceal themselves under debris and rail cars.
The aerial crew provided real-time updates to officers on the ground, guiding them to a nearby overpass where both individuals were located and detained without further incident.
During a subsequent sweep of the area, law enforcement recovered firearms that had been reported stolen during the burglary. Officers also located discarded clothing that matched the descriptions provided by the initial surveillance footage. The recovered property was returned to the business owner.
