Homicide detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle in connection with a shooting that left two people men dead and five others wounded.
The Jan. 31 violence erupted around 8 p.m. at the intersection of 132nd Street and Jarvis Avenue in Compton, sheriff’s investigators stated in a news release.
Details are limited and it’s unclear exactly how the shooting occurred, but detectives said the vehicle involved in the shooting was a blue 2000s-era sedan, possibly a Dodge Caliber.
No information was provided on the age or identity of any of the victims, nor did investigators provide a description of a shooting suspect or suspects.
