Irvine Company Retail Properties is introducing a new lineup of dining and retail concepts this spring across its Southern California destinations, including Irvine Spectrum Center and Fashion Island. The latest additions include recently opened restaurants and shops, along with several upcoming concepts set to debut in the coming months.
Among the most notable recent openings is Din Tai Fung at Irvine Spectrum Center. The globally recognized restaurant is known for its carefully crafted xiao long bao and has opened a 15,000-sq.-ft. location designed to highlight its culinary process. The space features a showcase kitchen where guests can observe chefs hand-folding dumplings, as well as a sculptural garden and indoor courtyard that contribute to the overall dining environment. The menu at Din Tai Fung includes a range of signature dishes that have made the brand a widely recognized name. Steamed dumplings remain a central focus, alongside handmade noodle dishes and small plates such as cucumber salad. Dessert offerings include the restaurant’s signature chocolate dumplings, which have become a staple for returning guests.
At Fashion Island, Ralph’s Coffee has also opened, bringing the Ralph Lauren brand’s café concept to Newport Beach. The café offers a selection of custom coffee blends made from organic beans sourced globally, along with teas, classic American desserts, and soft serve ice cream. The location also features a curated assortment of branded apparel and accessories, including a Newport Beach-exclusive mug. Signature beverages at Ralph’s Coffee include Ralph’s Roast and Ralph’s Espresso, while items such as the Matcha Latte and seasonal drinks provide additional options. The café reflects the brand’s broader aesthetic, combining retail and hospitality elements within a single space.
Also newly opened at Fashion Island is Rothy’s, a retail concept focused on sustainability.
