Grand opening of Snoop Dogg’s 1st Long Beach storefront postponed over safety concerns

The grand opening of Snoop Dogg’s first brick-and-mortar business in his hometown of Long Beach, California, has been postponed due to safety concerns.

The West Coast rapper’s team told KTLA 5 that the postponement follows the deadly May 1 shooting at the grand opening of Marathon Burger, a franchise tied to the late rapper Nipsey Hussle. The shooting hurt two people and killed one.
