Fullerton School District celebrated the opening of the new Arts and Recreation Center (ARC) at D. Russell Parks Junior High School on May 7, introducing a vibrant new space for athletics, performances and community events.
Students, families, staff, elected officials and community members gathered for the ribbon-cutting celebration, which featured performances by the school’s drum line and cheer as well as remarks highlighting the impact the new facility will have on generations of students.
Made possible through Measure N, the 10,000-square-foot center features full-size basketball and volleyball courts, additional practice courts, spectator seating, and a performance stage equipped with professional lighting and sound.
