In 2019, Xiaoman Ding was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor in her brain that caused her debilitating headaches. At times, she couldn’t open her eyes or walk.
So while she was detained at the Adelanto ICE Processing Center after being arrested at an immigration courthouse in Santa Ana last June, she made repeated requests for medical treatment.
