LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Health leaders are tracking hantavirus cases on a cruise ship after it left Argentina, but it may feel distant until you meet someone who lived through it and survived it.
“My mom said that before they sent me off to the ambulance, she talked to me and she’s like, Shaina, you’re going to be okay,” Shaina Montiel shared with 8 News Now. “‘The doctors are here to take care of you, but there’s a possibility that you might, you know, meet Jesus soon and go to heaven.’”
