Anchorage Police are releasing new details about a deadly multi-vehicle crash on the Seward Highway near Potter Marsh that left two people dead and shut down the highway for hours.
Police say the crash happened Wednesday at about 9 a.m. near mile 116.7 of the Seward Highway.
Investigators determined a 2006 Volvo was traveling northbound when it crossed into the southbound lanes for an unknown reason. Authorities say the Volvo collided head-on with a 2022 Ford Explorer that was traveling southbound in the correct lanes…
