Providence Alaska ends five-hour lockdown after police presence

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Providence Alaska Medical Center went on lockdown in the early morning hours of Friday, with a large police presence forming in the area.

Providence reports the lockdown began at 1 a.m. and, after consulting with the Anchorage Police Department, ended at 6:35 a.m.
