Four people were killed Wednesday after a small plane flying from Anchorage crashed into the Seldovia Slough and became completely submerged, according to the Alaska State Troopers.
Troopers said they were notified of the crash at approximately 1:18 p.m. A preliminary investigation determined the aircraft was a Piper PA-24 traveling from Merrill Field Airport in Anchorage to Seldovia when it crashed into the water.
