ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A small plane crashed Thursday night in the Wrangell Mountains, killing both people onboard, authorities say.
The Piper Cub with two onboard crashed shortly after taking off from a dirt airstrip near Snag Creek and ended up near the small community of Nabesna, where Alaska State Trooper say they got the call around 7:51 p.m. Thursday.
