ANCHORAGE, AK (Alaska’s News Source) – A series of storms is rolling through Western Alaska, then making its next stop in Southcentral and the Interior by Thursday morning. In the meantime, quiet conditions remain across the Southern Coastline as another round of dense freezing fog blankets Anchorage.
Another round of dense fog is stealing precious time from our sunny skies across the region. Though roads seem dry, very slick conditions are present and will remain present through much of the morning. Aside from dense fog, clear skies remain through much of your Wednesday in Southcentral before the evening hours bring increasing cloud cover. As the series of Bering Sea Storms stretch inland, scattered rain will arrive in Southcentral overnight and into Thursday morning, bringing rain and snow across the region.
