ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The criminal trial of a 24-year-old man charged with first- and second-degree murder began on Thursday in an Anchorage courtroom. After eluding police for several weeks, Mickee Thompson, then 19, was arrested in May 2018 after being identified as a suspect in the Mountain View homicide of his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend, 21-year-old Sosaia Finau.
