Dylan Cole Moss, 24, has been indicted for the murder of Gabriel LeBlanc, 21, by an Anchorage grand jury. The Attorney General’s Office announced the indictment on February 15, 2024. Moss faces an additional charge of Misconduct Involving a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, due to alleged alcohol influence while possessing a firearm.
On February 10, 2024, Moss reportedly called 911, stating he had shot someone. The Anchorage Police Department responded to the call at a Huntsmen Circle apartment complex. They found Gabriel LeBlanc deceased in his bedroom from a gunshot wound.
Police found Moss outside the apartment and detained him for questioning. He was later arrested and is now in the Department of Corrections’ custody. Moss’s charges are allegations, not evidence of guilt. He remains innocent until proven guilty.
The court set Moss’s bail at $100,000 cash performance and ordered house arrest, monitored by the Pre-Trial Enforcement Division. Moss’s arraignment before the Superior Court is scheduled for February 20, 2024.
