Alaska State Fair closes final day after seeing highest concert attendance to date

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – After three weekends of packed crowds, new attractions and live music, the Alaska State Fair wrapped up on Monday at the Palmer fairgrounds. In between filling up on fair food, attendees took part in a bevy of festivities, from a cow milking demo to an afternoon show by 21-year-old Stephen Sanchez, the final of 14 fair concerts at the Conoco Phillips Borealis Theatre.
