The Anchorage Police Department has released body-cam video from the officer-involved shooting that took place on June 3, 2024. In that incident, officers responded to gunfire at East 19th and Karluk Street, where they confronted two suspects, one with a gun. The suspect, later identified as 21-year-old Tyler May, refused to drop the weapon and officers fired and the suspect was killed.
