ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Fall colors are out! Yellows and red leaves are beginning to show up in larger numbers as our daylight shortens and temperatures drop. An area of low pressure in the Gulf of Alaska is weakening as a trough sits between the Gulf and a new storm system way out west. The three will bring anywhere between occasional showers to periods of heavy rain to the state through Thursday.
