State lawmakers request removal of Bartlett High diving boards

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Alaska state legislators are now joining the fight to remove recently-installed diving boards at Bartlett High School in Anchorage. Alaska’s News Source recently reported on the controversy surrounding the installation of diving boards at the state’s only 50-meter pool, where many from the swimming community have argued that the boards not only limit competitions but pose safety risks as well.
