Cooler weather with snow slowly building into Alaska

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A change is in the air this week across the state, as cooler weather continues to filter into the state. Many areas of the state are seeing overnight lows dropping near or below freezing, with Southcentral set to see many mornings this week of overnight lows flirting with freezing. Last year, Anchorage saw it’s official first snow fall on October 5, with this year no signs of snow in the forecast for at least the next week. Overall, much of the state will continue to hold onto cooler weather.
