HOUSTON, Alaska (KTUU) – A 94-year-old woman died in a car crash near Houston Monday afternoon when the car she was riding in was hit. Alaska State Troopers say the Ford Focus that 94-year-old Ida Cockroft of Houston was riding in made a left turn onto Cheri Lakes Drive around 2:30 p.m. when a Chevrolet Tahoe struck the passenger side of the Ford.
