Chugiak High School on temporary lockdown after false alarm

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Chugiak High School was placed on a temporary lockdown on Friday after school administration received a report of a possible weapon on campus. Anchorage police investigated and no weapons were found, wrote principal Megan Hatswell in a statement. Students and staff were safe and there were no injuries. Classes and dismissal resumed as normal Friday following the lockdown being lifted. No one was arrested or charged with a crime.
