Mother Nature has caused serious damage to a trail in the Homer area. Michael Armstrong shared photos in the Kachemak Bat Nature Watch Facebook group. Alaska State Parks officials confirm that mudslides have indeed made the Diamond Creek Trail impassable right now, following a storm over the weekend. The mud is reported to be knee-deep along parts of the trail in Homer. See the Photos.
