A bit of sun after the snow, more snow on the way

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Southcentral, the western Interior and Northern Alaska will see clear skies for Wednesday. The next storm is moving into Southwest and Western Alaska on Wednesday bringing elevated winds as well as rain to the Aleutian Islands and Alaska Peninsula. Adak is expected to see rain by the afternoon with winds picking up out of the Southwest 30 to 40 mph. The winds pick up as well as some snow around St. Lawrence Island with winds out of the East 25 to 40 mph and gusts up to 55 mph.
