ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Blood Bank of Alaska is asking for critical donations, saying it needs all types of blood, but specifically O+ and O-. The Blood Bank of Alaska said there’s been a larger-than-normal amount of traumas across the state, and winter weather can impact the blood supply that’s available.
