Capitol Christmas Tree makes swing through western states as part of 4,000-mile journey to nation’s capital

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – An 80-foot Sitka Spruce from the Tongass National Forest is winding its way through western states as it heads for the nation’s capital. The Capitol Christmas Tree made stops Saturday in Pocatello, Idaho, and Murray, Utah. On Sunday, the tree wowed crowds who gathered in Grand Junction, Colorado.
